Not for the faint-hearted, or heavy handed, needle-felting requires a poke-poke here, and a jab-jab there with a sharp, barbed felting needle into wool fibres (Corriedale).Through this repetitive action with the felting needle, the fibres become interlocked together and can be moulded, sculpted and manipulated to create 3-Dimensional objects, be it jewellery, art dolls or free form sculpture. |

Fibres can also be needle felted onto woven fabric (such as wool batts, commercial felt or wet felted work), to create flat pieces. Any felt-work can be further embellished with stitches, beading or precious found objects. |
